How to Fix Loose Ball and Sockets:
Mario Helps King Ghidorah!
There comes a time in the life of a toy when all of a sudden, its limb would just fall off for no apparent reason. Maybe it's the result of its owner abusing its joints in some kind of overly enthusiastic play? Whatever is the reason, both the toy and the owner surely don't enjoy detached limbs!
Fortunately, we don't live in the days when toys remain broken forever! For this article, you will see how loose ball and sockets can easily be fixed with just a few common household items. No need for super glue or complicated tools!
Coincidentally, Monsterarts King Ghidorah is suffering from this loose ball and sockets syndrome. His tail just won't stay connected and his middle neck keeps falling off. Fortunately, Mario is a plumber so he's naturally handy with putting things together and making things fit! "It'sssss AAAHHH MEEEEE!!! MARRRIIIOOO!!!! I can fix your tail and your neck!" Mario tells King Ghidorah.
The first thing that Mario does is to inspect the problem area. He checks the ball and the socket and then tries to connect them. This way, Mario knows just how loose the two are and how he should position the ball so that it would properly get inserted into the socket later. King Ghidorah tries to act tough but cries a little bit out of fear that he'd lose his tail forever.
Next, Mario grabs a bottle of Pledge Floor Care, some Qtips, and an empty disposable cup. The Pledge Floor Care is the most important item here because this is what Mario will use to make the ball and sockets fit tighter.
Since Mario took a little too much Qtips, he asks MechaGodzilla to hold on to the rest. MechaGodzilla can't believe that he just got ordered around by a little fat Italian plumber who wears an eternal happy smile under his thick moustache.
Mario then pours a tiny amount of Pledge Floor Care into the empty disposable cup. "Please don't drink it!" Mario warns his friends. He dips a Qtip and stirs the somewhat sticky liquid around until his Qtip has absorbed a good amount of it.
Mario then proceeds to apply the sticky liquid on the ball as well as the socket using his Qtip. He makes sure to coat the inside of the socket. He then attaches the tail together, wiggles it a bit, and then disconnects them again. King Ghidorah feels a little uncomfortable having someone touch his tail this much. Mario needs them to dry separately for safety reasons because he's afraid that the ball and socket might stick together too much that it would get damaged if the tail tries to bend later on. By letting them dry separately, the worst that could happen is the ball won't fit into the socket anymore because the Pledge Floor Care coat was too thick. This is something that could be remedied by heating the area up to make the socket expand and then inserting the ball and letting the two cool down. King Ghidorah is surprisingly ticklish as he laughs a little everytime Mario rubs his tail's stub.
Mario then works on King Ghidorah's middle neck. He dips his Qtip into the cup to absorb some more Pledge Floor Care and then applies it on the ball and also inside the neck's socket. He connects King Ghidorah's neck together, wiggles them to make the Pledge coating even, and then detaches them to let them dry.
While waiting for the ball and sockets to dry, King Ghidorah decides to twirl around some Qtips as if trying to copy a cheerleader. His other friends wait in anticipation because they don't know whether to laugh or not if King Ghidorah still ends up with a loose tail and neck. They all remember that even without a tail and his middle neck, King Ghidorah is still bigger and stronger than them.
After a few hours (Mario and friends fell asleep!), Mario re-connects King Ghidorah's tail and neck. Fortunately, the Pledge Floor Care fix worked! King Ghidorah happily flexes his neck and formerly loose tail, ready to terrorize the other toys on the shelf once again!
So in summary, here's what you need to fix loose ball and sockets:
1. Pledge Floor Care
2. Qtips
3. Empty disposable cup
And all you have to do is:
1. Dip Qtip in Pledge Floor Care liquid.
2. Apply it on the ball and the affected socket.
3. Insert the ball in the socket and wiggle them around to make the coat even inside.
4. Separate them again and let them dry.
5. Re-connect them after a few hours.
I hope that Mario's knowledge about fixing loose ball and sockets would help you if you ever encounter this kind of situation!
